Our Task Team practices BEST HYGIENE understanding that people requesting tasks are the MOST vulnerable to COVID- 19.
• No interactions will happen in-person to minimize contact. All interaction regarding tasks will occur over the phone
• Our Task Team WILL NOT enter houses/apartments
• Our Task Team will leave all groceries, prescriptions, and home goods in bags outside of front door unless otherwise indicated on your request form
How does money exchange work?
Groceries, prescriptions, and home goods come at a cost. We ask seniors to call stores in advance and exchanging payment over the phone.We also accept payment via the electronic payment app Venmo. All Venmo electronic payments will be facilitated by Phone-A-Friend. In the case that neither option is possible, please leave cash for your Task Team member and they will present you with the receipt upon delivery.
